Mr. Villaseñor is an independent, self-starter, results oriented, principled and
strong-willed person with proven ability to identify opportunities. Excellent
management skills and problem-solving capabilities based on thorough analysis and detailed knowledge of all pertinent facts. Possess extensive knowledge and skills in management and operations (having managed organizations with total manpower complement of no less than 50 personnel), oral & written communications, strategic & corporate planning, inter-personal relationships, contract & crisis negotiation, international business & trade, and government negotiations / dealings.
He obtained his BS Industrial Engineering (BSIE) in 1978 and Masters in
Technology Management (MTM) in 1998 (conferred as Outstanding Graduate of the graduating class) at the University of the Philippines (Diliman) and became a part-time faculty affiliate of the U.P. Technology Management Center (U.P. TMC) in 2000 specializing on the subject “Technology- based Entrepreneurship”. He was also a Lecturer & Seminar/Workshop Program Developer on Entrepreneurship at the Center for Continuing Education of the Ateneo Graduate School, during the period October 2002 to December 2003.
He was also involved in conducting training/workshop/seminars in the field of
entrepreneurship, technology management, benchmarking and competitive
intelligence, TQM, productivity, technology licensing offices, and Post Career
Employment Opportunities (PECO) programs.
Mr. Villasenor is also an entrepreneur with extensive Philippine energy sector
experience. He has successfully negotiated contracts with the National Power
Corp. (NPC) of the Philippines and Export Processing Zone Authority for the
establishment of fossil-fuel power plants. He has developed energy projects and negotiated required agreements, including one of the few Transmission Service Agreement between NPC and a Philippine utility. His experience includes the development of state-of-the-art and technologically advanced multi-generation projects under BOO rules for producing electric power, potable water, industrial saturated steam and C02 gas from stack gas recovery systems. He brings wealth of experience in the management supervision of multi-disciplinary staffs of engineers performing all aspects of production operations including warehousing and inventory control of raw materials and finished products, and material procurement and control. NSV was a key member of the project development team in the promotion, development and funding of a multi-million US Dollar, 48MW wind energy farm facility in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro
