Martin has over thirty (30) years of people-development experience in the areas of teaching English as a Second Language, training on customer service and leading training teams in the Business Process Outsourcing.

In the BPO sphere, Martin was a pioneer in training and development when he
joined eTelecare Global Solutions in 2000. He then went on to manage various
training teams in companies within the industry such as ICT, WNS and eventually retiring from Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) in 2020. He was primarily responsible in leading teams in training about 6000 new hires in company orientation, communication and soft-skills and product. Leading his teams, he developed about 2000 first time leaders, team managers and operations managers. The development of leaders included competency identification, design and formulation of training solutions, measurement and assessment.

Key contributions in CTS included a digital upskilling campaign for all employees where CTS PH had the highest success rate across CTS geographies. Another significant contribution in CTS was the setting up of a partnership with the Ateneo Graduate School for an MBA Regis program for high potential managers. The program is aimed to develop the future AVPs and VPs of the company.

Martin graduated with a degree in AB Development Communication- Ateneo De Naga University.
