Angel…ito C…lub Inc. was initiated and founded by one of our volunteer executives and Board Trustee, Mr. Angelito Sarmiento. He is the former Mayor and Congressman of San Jose Del Monte City, Province of Bulacan.
Angel…ito C…lub Inc. is a club for those who need people and people who loves to help people. The members meet to learn from each other on how to help improve their own capacity, so they may help others better.
The Club main belief is that “no one is too rich not to receive, no one too poor not to give.” The Angel…ito C…lub Inc. harnesses individual and collective resources to help one another, regardless of station in life, increase capacity, to make us more productive and competitive as a whole. “Tulong ko, Itulong mo” (pay-forward model).

The Angel Bayanihan Community ProgramorABCis the Flagship Program of Angel…ito C…lub Inc.It offers an innovative approach to address socio-economic problems based on the ground level experiences attained through the years. An alternative course to development, it is NGO/private-sector driven, community-oriented and responsive to its needs utilizing available endogenous resources. This environmental-friendly approach translates into a self-reliant, self-sustaining development program.
In addition, theABC of Angel…ito C…lub Inc. creates the opportunity to help one another through thepromotion of a pay-forward help system in a sustainable cycle that links collaborative activities with the different projects and activities of ABC.
The Angel Bayanihan Community Programis a holistic approach towards community development. These are clustered programs and projects embodied under the umbrella of the Angel ABC. In the community, the ABC provides for the fundamental framework in creating opportunities to be able to help and be of help with one another, in a cycle of sustainable growth and development of the community members and the community as well.
Embodied in the Angel Bayanihan Community Programs, under its Angel Karunungan Committee, are the core areas of services on education, to wit: Angel Daycare, Angel ALS (Alternative Learning System), Angel TESDA Training Programs (tech-voc skills training courses) and Angel Scholarship Programs (subsidy to deserving college students). The core area of services on livelihood include: Angel Livelihood Buy-Back System, Angel Livelihood Trainings for Women Group Angel ALS Learners Angel Daycare. Finally, the Angel Multipurpose Cooperative provides for the sustainability of all these Angel Programs and Projects under the Angel Bayanihan Community.
The ABC program focuses on the achievement of universal education and eradication of poverty and hunger under the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) commitment of the country. Helping one another is an inherent culture of the Filipinos, which the Angel Bayanihan Program is harnessing to provide the fundamental framework of a sustainable holistic approach in the City of San Jose del Monte with its collaborative programs on education and livelihood. Addressing the real roots of the problem at hand, catch up programs are implemented with the following methodologies and concept.
Angel Karunungan Daycare is Angel ABC program for value formation. This also provides for social justice and support for parents to have opportunity of livelihood as the daycare takes care of their children.
Angel Alternative Learning System is Angel ABC catch-up program for education commonly known as Angel ALS. This program addresses the 60% of the population that has not taken high school. Those people who do not have the basic learning skills, functional literate as they may but are lacking the formal education and certificates to qualify them to avail college education and the techno-vocational trainings and competencies.
Angel TESDA Training for Work Scholarship Program is the Angel ABC capacity-building programs thru skills-enhancement and trainings and certifications that help increase their ability and employability to work place.
Angel Scholarship Programis the Angel ABC program for capacity building for college students through a subsidized scholarship grant.
Angel Kabuhayan-Livelihood Training is Angel ABC program for increase in productivity and capacity. The very concept of EARN WHILE YOU LEARN provides an alternative source of income filling-up the vacuum of time wasted to non-productive activities.
Angel Livelihood (buy-back system), This Angel ABC program provides for the actualization of the new found livelihood skills and craft. It is the mechanism that provides sustainability of the whole ABC program once it has been pump prime of its initial capitalization whether from government or private sector.
Angel Employment Assistance Program is Angel ABC program that actualizes the outcome of all the basic to formal education, skills-enhancement training and development, capability-building seminars. The Club database and search for job-match, employment requirement assistance and private sector-partnership.
Angel COOP Market managed and operated by the Angel…ito C…lub Inc. is the centerpiece of our collaborative programs and our strength ofself-reliance, sustainability, member’s participation, equitable distribution, harmony with nature and preservation of our pride and unity in the midst of cultural diversity.
To foster the community spirit, once a week Saturday, the members meet for short lessons on how to help better, to report the status of the club programs and projects, introduce new members and scholars to the club and to share experiences. The Club also invests in other NGOs to help boost its capacity to help others more, such as: teacher helping teachers, alternative learning system, TESDA skills development and training, job placements, livelihood seminars, religious organizations, among others.
Angel…ito C…lub is already a service provider contractor with success in helping increase graduates with DEPED, by helping them increase the number of classes for those who has not finished high school. In the city of San Jose del Monte with a half a million population,about 60% to them have yet to complete high school, including some 150,000 young to adult persons.
In the process, the program is expected to help create new entrepreneurs, especially those who have succeeded in their livelihood activities orwith the use of developed skills and crafts. The new enterprises in turn will create new jobs and transform our communities into a self-reliant city of the province. We look forward to the Entrepinoy foundation for various assistances towards entrepreneurial development, as pathway to rapid growth and progress down the road.
We can have a productive bayanihan community not only in the City of San Jose del Monte but also in the Philippines, if we can raise more funds for training and organizing the modules in different areas.
